GlycGo ("GlycGo," "we," "us") makes lifestyle-first carry for people who use insulin. This policy explains what we collect on glycgo.com, why, and what you can do about it. We have kept it short on purpose.
What we collect
When you subscribe to updates. Your email address, and the fact that you asked to receive GlycGo updates, product launches, and occasional offers. That's it — we don't ask for your name, your diagnosis, or anything about your health, and you should never send us health details you don't want us to have.
When you email us. Whatever you put in the message, plus your email address.
Automatically, when you visit. Standard web data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, how you got here, and time on site. This comes from Shopify (our store platform) and from the cookies described below.
If you buy something. Checkout collects your name, shipping and billing address, contact details, and order contents. Payment card details go straight to Shopify's payment processor — we never see or store your full card number.

- To keep the site working, secure, and free of abuse
- To understand which pages and ads bring people to GlycGo
- To fulfill orders and handle support
- To meet legal and tax obligations
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
The site uses cookies and similar technologies for three things: keeping the site functioning, measuring traffic, and advertising.
For advertising we run tracking pixels from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok. These let those platforms recognize visitors and show GlycGo ads elsewhere, and they measure whether those ads worked. Under California law, that counts as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, even though no money changes hands. You can turn it off — see below.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may break parts of the site.
Health-related information
GlycGo is a diabetes product, so subscribing to our updates or buying a product can imply something about you or someone you care for. We treat that seriously:
- We never ask for a diagnosis, medication, glucose data, or any clinical information.
- We do not knowingly upload subscriber emails to advertising platforms as a health-related audience, and we do not build health-based ad segments.
- If you'd rather not be associated with a diabetes brand in advertising data, use the opt-out below before browsing, or browse with tracking blocked.
Who else touches your data
- Shopify — hosts the store, processes checkout, provides store analytics
- Our email marketing provider — stores our subscriber list and sends our emails
- Meta and TikTok — advertising and ad measurement, as described above
- Service providers used for shipping, support, or fraud prevention, each limited to what their job requires
- Authorities, if we're legally required to disclose, or to protect someone's safety
- A buyer or successor, if GlycGo is ever sold or merged
Your choices
Unsubscribe. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. One click, no questions.
Opt out of ad tracking / "Do Not Sell or Share." Use the privacy choices control Shopify displays on our site, or email support@glycgo.com and we'll apply it to your address. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal — if your browser sends it, we treat it as an opt-out for that browser.
Access, correction, or deletion. Email support@glycgo.com and tell us what you want. We'll confirm your request within 10 days and complete it within 45 days, and we may need to verify you own the email address in question. We will never treat you differently for exercising a privacy right.
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to a copy of your data in a portable format, to limit how sensitive information is used, to withdraw consent, or to appeal if we say no. Same address — just ask.
In the EU or UK? Our legal basis is your consent for marketing email, legitimate interest for site security and basic analytics, and contract performance for any order you place. You can withdraw consent at any time, and you can complain to your national data protection authority.
How long we keep it
Subscriber emails stay until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and we clear unsubscribed addresses periodically. Support emails are kept up to two years. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires — currently seven years.
Security
Shopify provides encryption in transit, PCI-compliant payment handling, and access controls. We keep the number of people who can reach customer data small. No system is perfectly secure, and we won't pretend otherwise.
Children
GlycGo is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. Type 1 diabetes is often diagnosed in childhood — if you're a parent buying for a child, please sign up and order in your own name. If you believe a child gave us their information, email support@glycgo.com and we'll delete it.
Visitors outside the United States
GlycGo operates in the United States, and your information is processed here. US privacy law may offer less protection than the law where you live. Using the site means you're okay with that transfer.
Changes
We'll update this page when our practices change and move the effective date at the top. Real changes — new categories of data, new ways of sharing it — are communicated to subscribers.
